Yes – the blender has a timer that counts up in seconds during blending. After 10 minutes of inactivity, the blender will go into sleep mode. The screen will display zzz’s when the unit is in sleep mode.

The Blender Pitcher allows for longer blending durations, but for safety, the blender will not run for more than 60 seconds at a time with the Blending Cup attached. Blending with the Blending Cup attached is limited to 3 consecutive cycles per 6-minute period.
